How it all started

Affari Development is an inspiring story of what can happen when talented and compassionate individuals with a shared vision come together. The founding team consists of three members, Kiah Hochstetler (finance and investment), Drew Webb (business management and strategic planning), and Jim Schafer (land developer and general contractor). The brainchild project that sparked the creation of Affari Development was a 9-unit infill project in 2020, which preserved the existing single-family residence in Missoula, Montana.

Despite facing uncertainty due to construction during CoVid, the team achieved success with the 9 plex, prompting them to formalize their working relationship and establish Affari Development. The company’s vision is driven by shared values of integrity, transparency, and social impact, with a mission to transform housing development.

Since its inception, Affari Development has continuously pushed boundaries and set new standards in the housing development sector. They are known for their ability to navigate complex regulations, create stunning and sustainable buildings that enhance renters’ lives. The team’s culture is also a standout feature, which fosters collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Currently, Affari Development is actively engaged in several ongoing projects and is scaling up operations to ensure a consistent flow of new housing units. Their passion for transformative housing development continues to be contagious, and they invite investors to join them on their journey. Affari Development’s focus extends beyond just building houses; they are dedicated to creating communities and transforming lives.
